We're back from TN where we saw Katie graduate, along with the other 280 or so Union University students. She was awarded the Academic Excellence Award from the English dept, nominated for Who's Who Among American College Students, and graduated w/ summa cum laude honors. She and Josh are doing wonderfully and we had a super visit! It was a little bittersweet when I realized this is probably our last trip to Jackson. We've made this stretch of road quite a few times over the past 7 or so years. Once Josh graduates next May, they plan to move to Nashville (another fun place to visit!).

A mother and grandmother could not be more proud of her two beautiful, intelligent, loving, Spirit-filled girls. One already achieving in her world and the other one on the threshold success in this new phase of her life, and well armed with success already, I love you both very much.
Well, I wanted to say congrats to both of you but then I read your mom's sweet comment and now I'm in tears and have no idea what else I was going to say!
